Pre-purchase: Jaywest’s expert staff, combined with the detailed Viceroy catalog and the Jaywest / Viceroy show home provided us with valuable and detailed information regarding the available products. It was clear to us the the Viceroy design and material package combined with Jaywest’s experienced and knowledgeable staff that we had come to the right place and we were in good hands. Planning: Jaywest staff met with us on numerous occasions to enhance our understanding of our selected catalog Viceroy floor plan and to lead us through the customization process. Viceroy’s and Jaywest customization and architectural services enabled us to pick and choose all aspects of our home providing us with a wide range of options. In the end, we had a home that reflected our personal family preferences and fully met our needs Jaywest staff even came out to our site to assist us in selecting the optimal location for our home on our site. Jaywest staff were fully willing to provide services ranging from “turn-key” to just over the phone advice. This flexibility of services was greatly appreciated . In our case we decided to undertake the General Contractor’s role, but Jaywest’s staff were still willing to provide us with technical guidance and contact information for contractors they recommended we utilize. We utilized Jaywest staff to frame our home and to complete siding work. In both cases the quality of the work was high. Post Construction: Jaywest’s staff continues to be available to us providing us with answers to any questions we have regarding our home and providing us with contact information for contractors who can help us with the “odds and ends” (e.g. decks, painting, etc) that come up during the home ownership journey. Additionally, Jaywest continues to invite us to their seasonal parties ensuring we remain part of the Viceroy / Jaywest family.

We are extremely pleased with Jaywest Country Homes. From our first visit to a Viceroy home and talking with the owners we had are minds made up that this is how we wanted to build our dream home. We had already picked out and began modification of the Viceroy Cedarbrae before our initial meeting with Heath Golding (BC Site Supervisor) at our site. After a call to Jaye he assured us that our changes wouldn’t be a problem so we ordered and from then on Jaye and his friendly, knowledgeable staff did everything via email, phone and through Heath. Even though we decided to act as our own general contractor, Heath was on site or in contact with us on a daily basis from the delivery date until now. We are at the drywall stage right now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jaywest Country Homes and the Viceroy system to anyone. The superior quality of the wood used, their attention to detail and the personalized service is noticed and commented upon by everyone (tradespeople as well as friends) who have visited the site within the last 3 months.
